I will collect you from where you are staying in Dublin.
From there our first stop will be Newgrange which pre dates both Stonehenge and the Pyramids in Egypt and is one of only two Unesco world heritage sites in Ireland.
Our second stop will be Monasterboice which has two beautiful High crosses and a very impressive round tower dating back to the 10th century set in a beautiful old graveyard.
From there our next stop will be The Hill of Slane which is where St. Patrick lit a Paschal fire in 433AD to introduce Christianity into Ireland . The Hill also has the ruins of Slane Abbey which dates back to the 16th century and is great fun to explore.
Our next stop will be The Hill of Tara which is where The High kings of Ireland ruled. The Hill also offers stunning views of up to 12 counties of Ireland.
From there our final stop will be Trim Castle which is the largest Anglo Norman Castle in Ireland dating back to 1176 and was also the location for the movie Brave Heart starring Mel Gibson in 1994.
Return to Dublin for overnight or stay in The beautiful Heritage town of Trim.
We will travel South east through the Wicklow Mountains with stunning scenery and peat bogs and beautiful Lakes.
We will visit the monastic city of Glendalough and also visit the Upper lake.
Our next stop will be The Avoca hand weavers which dates back to 1723 and is Irelands oldest Hand weavers. You will get a tour of the mill which is very enjoyable.
From there we will travel further South east to the town of New Ross in CO. wexford where you will visit The Dunbrody Famine Ship which is a very enjoyable tour with passionate Guides telling you stories of the Tragic Irish potatoe Famine which starred In 1845.
We will then have a 5 minute ferry Crossing to the Beautiful city of Waterford where we will stay overnight.
